He was predeceased by: his siblings, Norman and Neva Peters. He is survived by: his wife Lois Fairchild of Spencer; and his children, Carol Dayton of Bella Vista, AR, Dennis Fairchild (Joyce) of Chapel Hill, NC, Douglas Fairchild of Minneapolis, MN and Holly Nystrom (Bruce) of Milford, IA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
