With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charilyn E. Dare of Spirit Lake, Iowa, who passed away on August 27, 2020 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charilyn E. Dare to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Dewey and Geneva Belken (Wood); her husband Donald E. Dare; her grandson Andrew Hickman; and her siblings, Duane Belken, Dale Belken, Darlene Reeves and Sevilla Tvedte.

She is survived by : her daughter Carol Gerken of Apple Valley; her grandchildren, Brent Dare, Savannah Dare, Grant Wambold, Nick Gerken (Heather), Aaron Hickman and Sarah Wedebrand; her great grandchildren, Wesley and Harper; and her sisters, Betty Smith and Barb Haagenson.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic, the family has decided to have a private family graveside service in the Lakeview Cemetery.
