With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan DeWitt of Spirit Lake, Iowa, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on July 26, 2020. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan DeWitt to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter Bennett and Mary Bennett (Thomas); her husband William DeWitt (Buck); and her brother Pat Bennett. She is survived by : her sister Mary Ann (Dennis Metcalf) of Castle Rock, Colorado; and her children, Chris Hoelker (Chuck) of Kingsley, Ann Nash (Kurt) of Kingsley, Ellen DeWitt of Spirit Lake, Iowa, Bill DeWitt (Katie) of Shoreview, Joe DeWitt (Cyndi) of New Braunfels and Peter DeWitt (Amy) of Minnetonka, Minnesota. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
