She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert Olson and Margaret Olson (Lasher); her granddaughter Leah; and her sister Jean. She is survived by : her husband John Shanafelt of Spirit Lake; her children, John Shanafelt (Julie) of Montgomery, TX, Leigh MacMillian of Toronto, Canada and Charles Shanafelt (Julie) of Dakota Dunes, SD; and her daughter-in-law Diane Shanafelt of Sioux City.
