It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ken Ashland of Spirit Lake, Iowa, who passed away on January 13, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Ashland and Edna Ashland (Thompson); his son Jeffrey Ashland (Penny) of Spirit Lake; and his siblings, Linda Ashland and Lloyd Ashland.
He is survived by : his wife Doris Ashland; his daughters, Wendy Ashland of Otsego, MN and Peggy Adam (Ken) of Chanhassen, MN.; his sister Kathryn Swanson; his sister-in-law Diane Ashland; and his pet Barney. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
