He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Oleson and Annabelle Oleson (Brough). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Oleson; his sister Janee Ann Johnston (Ron); his nephews, Craig and Jon Root; his sister Bette Jean Infeldt (George); his niece MaryAnn; his stepson William Ruzicka (Ann); his stepgrandchildren, Wiley, Bridget and Faith; his stepdaughter Elizabeth McKinney (Quincy); his stepgrandsons, Eric Ruzicka (Alex) and Matt McKinney; and his great grandchildren, Gianna, Colette, Dominic and Isabelle Ruzicka. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crosswinds Church (2805 Erie Ave, Spirit Lake, IA 51360). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
