It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Johnson of Spirit Lake, Iowa, who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Glen Birdsell and Thelma Birdsell; her husband Cleo Johnson; her son Kyle Johnson; and her son-in-law Steve Gazda.

She is survived by : her children, Darice Mullins (Lynn) of Jackson, Darren Johnson (Donna) of Jackson and Dana Johnson (Robin) of Omaha; her sister Sheri Kolling of Des Moines; and her siblings-in-law, Jeff Johnson (Phyllis) of Spirit Lake, Bruce Johnson (Jan) of Spirit Lake and Ruby Bradshaw (Perry) of Des Moines. She is also survived by twelve grandkids.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 16th 2021 at 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (87, of Spirit Lake).
