He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard G. M. Osgerby and Bernice "Beanie" Mikelson Osgerby; his wife Marcia Elisabeth Osgerby (Rensink); and his siblings, Karen Sara, Michael Burdette, Richard Charles "Dickie" and Joan Leone "Joanie" Campbell.
He is survived by: his daughter Elisabeth Jennings (Joe) of Spirit Lake; his grandchildren, Caleb (Faith) and Hannah (Christian); his son Kerry Osgerby of Spirit Lake; his great grandchild Olivia; his daughter Alecia Fagen (Rob) of Urbandale; his grandchildren, Lauren and Meredith; his great grandchild Sara Cornell (Elijah) of Spirit Lake; his siblings, Diane Jenkins and Michael Osgerby; Cael. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In 1986, he received a state award for Outstanding Secondary School Physical Fitness and Sports Program—an honor presented by the State of Iowa recognizing his significant contributions to youth fitness and athletics.
