He is survived by : his parents, Scott Bourquin and Barbara Bourquin (Haenlein) of Jewell; his significant other April; his close friend April Bast of Stanhope; his children, Gavin, Gabriel, Noah, Lukas and Julie of Stanhope; and his sisters, Elizabeth Bourquin-Shields (Chris) of Italy and Miriam Strahn (Tom) of St. Michael, MN..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his children's education fund.
