It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Overlander of Stockport, Iowa, who passed away on December 30, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Overlander and Mildred Headley Overlander; and his son-in-law Mike Hanson. He is survived by: his former wife Elaine Barnett; his wife Carol Shore; his children, Rod Overlander (Linda) of Denton, Kim Hanson of Dumont, Jeri Beverlin (Jim) of Muscatine and Steve Shore; his grandchildren, Will Overlander (Chelsea) of Denton, Clarke Overlander of Argyle, Zac Hanson (Amanda) of Iowa Falls, Levi Hanson (Amy) of Waterloo, Lucas Hanson of Seattle, Chad Beverlin of Brooklyn and Brian Beverlin (Beth) of Davenport, Iowa; and his brother Maurice Overlander (Nancy) of Osage Beach, Missouri. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stockport United Methodist Church, Spencer Cemetery or Morris Park.
