Edith Laverne Pitts Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Edith Laverne Pitts in Storm Lake, Iowa, born in Lansing, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Florence Verdon (Protsman) and Joseph Verdon; and her husband Jim. She is survived by : her siblings, Harold, Floyd, Charles, Dan, Vince, Tom Verdon and Vera Fink-Buehler; her grandchildren, Nathan Megel (Heather), Jena Megel, Kendra Parker-Pitts, Noli Pitts, Tenzin Pitts, Amanda Winegarden (Morgan), Emily Athy (Chris), Andrew Panyard and Elliott Panyard; her great grandchild Cormac Megel; and her sister-in-law Marlys Alldredge. She is also survived by five children.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and out of concern for family and friends, a private family service is being planned for a later date.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family would cherish any special memories of Edith that you would share with them.
