He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Anderson and Gail Anderson (Schafer); his siblings, Wanda Benedict (Harold) and Robert Anderson; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Molgaard and Robert Molgaard.

He is survived by : his former life partner Deb Anderson; his wife Deborah Anderson of Storm Lake, Iowa; his children, Debra Miller (Jim) of Schaller, Iowa, Gregory Anderson (Annie) of Boerne, Texas, April Grant of Mapleton, Iowa and Curtis Anderson (Mary) of Panora, Iowa; his stepdaughter Lisa Brus (Brian) of Newell, Iowa; and his sister Alice Neilsen (Bob) of Westside, Iowa. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
