With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karolyn Sue Vander Woude (Storm Lake, Iowa), born in Sibley, Iowa, who passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, James "Jim" Jeppesen and Mary Jeppesen (McPherson) of Spencer, Iowa; her family, Lucas, Leigh and Lexi; her grandparents, Virgil, Eileen Jeppesen, Pete and Millie McPherson; her father-in-law Merle Vander Woude; her husband Troy Douglas Vander Woude; her children, Lucas Vander Woude of Denver, Leigh Hastings of Storm Lake and Lexi Vander Woude; her grandson Emmett Hastings of Storm Lake; her siblings, Lance (Lynette Jeppesen) and Kathy (Rick Wolthuizen); and her pets, Boss and Stella. She was also cherished by other nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
