She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Gaes and Sylvia Gaes (Medlicott); and her siblings, Raymond, Fred Gaes Jr., Jeanette Gaes, Leone Buchholz and Betty Jean Petersen.
She is survived by : her husband Dale Rude; her daughters, Diane May of Ferndale, WA and Robin Redmond; her grandchild Lauren Pena of Ferndale, WA; her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Owen; and her brother James Gaes of Storm Lake, IA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church, Sioux City, IA.
