She was predeceased by : her parents, Nelvin Nelson and Olga Nelson (Otteson) of Linn Grove; her brother Richard Nelson; her nephews, Brian Nelson and Wade Reeves; her great-niece Gracelyn Nelson; and her brother-in-law Larry Raveling.

She is survived by : her siblings, Bernard Nelson (Maxine) of Linn Grove, Carolyn Kies (Francis) of Storm Lake, Dianne Petty (Tom) of Norwalk, Linda Raveling of Omaha, Nebraska and Janice Nelson (Ed) of Ida Grove; and her sister-in-law Nancy Nelson of Linn Grove. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
