She was predeceased by: her parents, George Curry and Marjorie Vail; her husband Donald V. Barber; her son Jay; and her brother Fred.
She is survived by: her sons, Dean (Stephaney) of Phillips, WI, Dale (Monica) of State Center and Jared (Mindy) of Story City. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Bethany Life Chapel (212 Lafayette Ave, Story City, IA 50248).
