With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn LaVon Holdredge of Story City, Iowa, who passed away on April 18, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Handeland and Gertrude Handeland (Christianson); her son Garry; and her siblings, Gary, Ronald Handeland, Ardis Schwartz, Lois Brandt and Corrine Rutzen.

She is survived by: her children, Steve of Buckeye, Brian (Michelle) of Clear Lake, Jeff (Jennifer) of Story City and Cindy Van Loon (Gary) of Roland; and her sisters, Shirley Otta (Larry) of McCallsburg and Wilma Myers (Stan) of Gilbert. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
