Karen Sue Holm Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karen Sue Holm of Swaledale, Iowa, born in Mason City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward M. Petersen and Renelda H. Petersen (Oeltjenbruns); her sister Linda Nuehring (Petersen); and her grandson Alexander Branstad. She is survived by: her husband Allen Holm of Peter's Lutheran Church; her children, Aaron Holm (Katie), Kevin Holm (Shannon) and Amanda Holm-Branstad (Andrew); her grandchildren, Mekenzie Jenaway, Nathaniel Branstad, Melaena Holm, Olivia Holm, Caeleb Branstad, Dylan Holm, Korrigan Branstad, Brandon Holm and Samuel Branstad; her great grandchildren, Brooks and Eleanor; and her brothers, Larry Petersen and Duane Petersen (Joye).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Galilean Lutheran Church in Karen's memory.
