He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wright and Grace Wright (Joyner); his wife Dora "Joan" Bown; his children-in-law, Kathleen Wright, John "Jack" Owens and Al Novak; his granddaughter Andrea Rathje; and his great grandchild Jaymin Rathje.
He is survived by: his children, Debra James (Charles) of Missouri, Shawnee Owens (Jeff) of Marion, Sherrie Novak of Texas, Ben Wright, Jr. (Cyndi), Jeff Wright, Sr. (Tammi) of Cedar Rapids, Bruce Wright, Sr. (Tammy) of Swisher, Peggy Kacher (Larry) and Nancy Justice (Joseph) of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Per Covid guidelines, attendees are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
