He is survived by: his wife Doris Kadera; his children, Dan Mouchka (Dorine) of Walker and Diane Mouchka (Laura) of Walker; his grandsons, Christopher Young, Aaron Mouchka (Tineka) and Logan Morgan; his stepgrandchild Ashelie-Marie Curtis (Branwell Vandergaast); his sister Evelyn Klienmeyer (Bob) of Amana; and his stepsister Doris McCarty of Marshalltown.
