He is survived by: his children, Sheryl Brecht of Swisher and Dean Weis (Maribel) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Kirk Brecht (Alicia) of Swisher, Kasey Brecht (Heather Hovey) of Swisher, Emily Weis of Cedar Rapids and Olivia Weis of Cedar Rapids; his great grandchildren, Lucas and William Brecht; his niece Paula Nielsen (Harold) of Walker, Iowa; and his nephew Mitchell Gericke (Janet) of Walker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
