He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter V. Sturtz and Dorothy M. Sturtz (Pulber); his close friend Jan LaVelle; his siblings, Warren, Clifford, Robert, Royce, Dale, Shirley, Eris and Carolyn; and his nephews, Tracy and Terry.
He is survived by: his children, Marty and Marcia; his grandchildren, Dan, Bryant, Micaela (Jacob), Jason (Jaymie) and Pamala; his great grandchildren, Josie, Jill, Julie, Ava, Levi, Braiden, Emma and Mayley; and his sisters, Yvonne Early and Karen Kelly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
