She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Carl and Inga Johanna Rice (Lilledahl); her sisters, Cecile Rice and Olive Swendson (Kenneth); and her siblings-in-law, Vernon Stensland (Agnes), Darryl Stensland (Joan), John Sandvig, Howard Helgevold and JoAnn Halverson (Joe).
She is survived by: her spouse LeRoyn Stensland; her sons, David Stensland (Diann) of Thor, Don Stensland (Roberta) of Webster City and Fred Stensland (Leny) of Thor; her grandchildren, Ryan Stensland (Abbe), Lynsy Harrigan (Andy), Laura Stensland-Cady (Sam), Amanda Stensland, Derek Stensland (Katie), Ryan Pruismann (Jody), Rhett Pruismann and Ralissa Hurt (Tim); her sister Arliss Helgevold of Eagle Grove; and her sister-in-law Del Sandvig of Humboldt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
