She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Torkelson and Amy Torkelson (Warland); her siblings, Nina Abrams, Beverly Bowen, Naomi Torkelson, Esther Presler, Steve and Arnold; and her siblings-in-law, Darlene Torkelson, Paula Torkelson, Mel Lehman, Cecil Pedersen, Ralph Bowen, Keith Presler and Mike Abrams.
She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Christopher; her siblings, Pearl Pedersen of Humboldt, Jean Lehman of Eagle Grove, Ruby (Don Thompson), Russell (Loralee Torkelson), David (Carol Torkelson) and Bruce (Mary Torkelson); and her sister-in-law Mildred Torkelson of Humboldt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Foust Funeral Home (1115 SW 2nd St, Eagle Grove, IA 50533). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Ullensvang Lutheran Church (105 Ann St, Thor, IA 50591).
