He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Kirchhof and Hazel Kirchhof; and his brother David Kirchhof. He is survived by: his wife Carole Kirchhof (Johnson); his sister Marlys Johnson (Roger); his daughters, Cheryl O'Hern (Tom), Susan Kirchhof, Deb Almond (Larry) and Michelle Vetter (Mark); and his grandchildren, Brandon O'Hern (Stacey), Kinsey Lombard (Jay), Katie Witte (Tyler), Connor Almond (Kelsey), Allison Vetter and Sam Vetter.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the family's discretion.
