It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norene Boyle (Tipton, Iowa), who passed away on August 20, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Schlapkohl and Wilma Schlapkohl (Bockwoldt); her husband Lyle Burmeister; her siblings, Ima Riessen, Roland Schlapkohl and Donald Schlapkohl; her siblings-in-law, Lois Schlapkohl, Lenora Schlapkohl and Melvin Riessen; her stepchildren, Tom Boyle, Nancy Macy and Peggy Whitworth; and her grandson Travis Burmeister.
She is survived by: her brother Vernon Schlapkohl; her children, Ken Burmeister (Candy) of Davenport, Randy Burmeister (Donna) of New Liberty, Gary Burmeister (Rita) of Tipton, Rick Burmeister (Lydia) of Atlanta, GA, Luanne Huckstadt (Kim) of Maquoketa and Linda Stiles (Matt) of Tacoma, WA; her stepchildren, Tim Boyle and Jane Field; and her grandchildren, Troy Burmeister (Brittany), Tara Bries (Andy), Wade Burmeister, Kari Elsberry (Gregg), Tracey Jeffords (Brian), Jason Burmeister (Tiffany), Justin Burmeister (Kathryn), Trent Burmeister, Tate Huckstadt, Jonathan Stiles (Rebecca) and Sam Stiles (Melissa). She is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
