She was predeceased by: her father William Knoll; her sister Donna Gillispie; her son-in-law Derek Shickell; and her granddaughter Makayla Claire Shickell. She is survived by: her mother Marion Knoll (Jackman); her husband Roger Tjarks of Titonka; her children, Gwendolen Shickell (Matt Rourke) of Portland, OR and Travis Tjarks of Buffalo Center; her grandchildren, John Ryan IV, Abigail Ryan, Hannah Shickell, Jared Tjarks and Jacob Tjarks; and her siblings, Richard Knoll (Laura), Sandra Sigmund (Jerry) and Laura Richter (Harlan). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Good Hope Lutheran Church (323 Dieckman St, Titonka, IA 50480). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
