She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Gray and Sadie Gray (Huisman); her husband Marvin "Bud" Behrends; her daughter Marilyn Roche; her grandson Todd Slifer; and her brothers, Richard Gray, Vernon Gray, Lester Gray, Alvin Gray and Larry Gray.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Carsen (John) of Dana Point, CA, Marcia Jaren (Phil) of Bancroft and Paula Engelson (John) of Stanwood, WA; her son-in-law Bill Roche of Frankfort, KS; her grandchildren, Matthew, Adam Slifer, Caleb, Joshua, Jesse Jaren, Jonathan Carson, Kyle and Kurtis Engelson; and her siblings, Lloyd Gray of Rockford, IL, Arlene Rofdal of Titonka and Dorothy Huesman of Titonka. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
