He was predeceased by : his parents, Glen A. Jeffries and Grace L. Duff Jeffries; his sons, Terry and Michael; and his brothers, Glen, Richard and Robert.

He is survived by : his wife Peggy Lichty August; his children, Diane Potter (Dwayne), Elk Run Heights, Debbie Bane (Jeff), Emery and Pat (Nancy); his siblings, Ellen Rogers (Mike), Waterloo, Mary Lou Carlson (Ron) and Dale (Raejean); and his sister-in-law Sherry Jeffries. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; a 6 great-great grandchildren.
