With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Sevcik of Traer, Iowa, born in Independence, Iowa, who passed away on September 16, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Short and Florence Short (Clabby); her husband Lester Sevcik; her son Andrew; her son-in-law David Dedic; and her sister Barbara Hummel.
She is survived by : her children, Margaret Dedic of Cedar Falls and Gregory Sevcik of Traer; her sister Florence Gehling of Decorah; and her grandchildren, Joseph Dedic of Mason City, Jack Dedic of Mason City and Chloe Dedic (Burton Hable) of Charlottesville, Virginia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
