She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl I. Ellis and Maude Olive Grace Ellis; her husband William Welch; and her brothers, Robert "Bob" Ellis and Ronald Ellis.

She is survived by: her children, Terry (Linda Welch), Jackie (Chuck Ferree) and Curt (Sharon Welch); her grandchildren, Bryon Welch (Ashley), Chad Ferree (Cassie), Colton Ferree (Courtney), Amy McDougall (Chris), Ray Welch (Tara) and Nathan Deppe (Harmony); and her sister-in-law Jean Welsh of Oskaloosa.
