We bid farewell to Carol Ann Morris of Des Moines, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Carol Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Batterton and Chester Batterton; her husband Dean Morris; her stepfather Ted Batterton; and her brother Don Batterton.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Curnes, Marcia Gruber (Chris) and Matt Morris; her grandchildren, Jessica Nelsen (Tim), Megan Fiers (Josh), Sydney Curnes, Madison Gruber, Samantha Gruber and Bailey Brewster; her great grandchildren, Rowan, Edwin, Liam and Lainey Louise; and her siblings, Gary Batterton (Carol) and Sharon Putney (Ron). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of gifts, donations may be made to The Helping Hand of Warren County Food and Clothing Pantry (109 E Clinton Ave, Indianola, IA 50125), a cause dear to Carol's heart.
