She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Lewis and Frances Lewis Mayer; her husband John L. Pierce; and her sister Donna Klein. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ginny Washburne (Brian), Mary Huisenga (Michael), Michael Oppold (Rachel), Jesse Kelsey (Melanie), Keegan Kelsey (Natasha Udpa) and Anna Pierce (Alan Arakkal); and her great grandchildren, Michael, Owen, Kellan Washburne, Henry Huisenga, Jackson, Evelyn, Lillian Oppold, Finn, Liam Kelsey, Ashoka and Akash Kelsey.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Walnut Hills United Methodist Church (12321 Hickman Rd, Urbandale, IA 50323).
