It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Frances Pietig (Urbandale, Iowa), who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Frances Pietig to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Philip Schlueter and Mary Louise Schlueter (Saucier); and her sister-in-law Sandy Schlueter. She is survived by : her husband Ray Paul Pietig; her children, Mary Kay Moore (Douglas), Paul Pietig (Tricia), Suzanne Kadlec (Donald), David Pietig (Megan McMahon) and Michael Pietig (Joy); and her siblings, Joseph Schlueter (Dorothy), Philip Schlueter (Elizabeth), Jeannie Connor (Thomas) and Edward Schlueter (Anne). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Fellowship of Catholic University Students, and contribution for masses for the intentions of Mary Fran.
