With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wilma Jane Hootman of Urbandale, Iowa, born in Jefferson, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by : her parents, William J. Tonkinson and Beulah B. Bruey Tonkinson; her husband Dewayne Hootman; her son Ronald Dewayne Hootman; and her siblings, Mary Louise Garretson, Vivian Marie Beckett, Melvia Lee Peck, Katherine Disney, Ruth Esther Countryman and Robert William Tonkinson.

She is survived by : her daughter Sherry Coop of Urbandale; her sister Lola Kirchner of Stockport; and her grandchildren, Eric Coop (Ayesha) of Urbandale and Christiana Skarp of Brainard, MN.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery (510 E Stone Ave, Fairfield, IA 52556).
