He is survived by : his former life partner Beverly "Bev" Malone; his brother Jack of Las Vegas, NV; his children, Rita Carstens of San Diego, CA and Randy Carstens (Robyn) of Castana, IA; his granddaughter Alison Justice (Curt); his great grandchild Cullen; his grandson Aaron Carstens (Heather); his great grandchildren, Madilynne and Kenzlee; his son Richard Carstens (Cathy); and his grandchild Casey (Jay Krier). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
