With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Belmont Olson of Van Wert, Iowa, born in Elk Horn, Iowa, who passed away on March 27, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Belmont Peter and Maxene Letha Olson (Taylor); his brother David Olson; his brother-in-law Dannie Christensen; his granddaughter-in-law Beth Kennedy; and his great grandchildren, Michael Dohrn and Niklaus Dohrn.

He is survived by : his son Mike (Michelle Olson); his wife Doris Olson; his children, Jeff Olson (Miranda Van Blaricum), Deborah Carson of Leon and Patty Parkhurst of Leon; his grandchildren, Jaelyn (Sam Pulkrabek), Jordyn Olson, Ryan Olson, Brad Olson, Jordon (Monica Brown), Jake Carson, Danielle Carson, Cody Dohrn, Mike Dohrn, Dalton Dohrn and Luke Parkhurst; his sister Dee Christensen of Missouri Valley, Iowa; and his sister-in-law Linda Olson of Panora, Iowa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
