He is survived by : his mother Bernadette Whalen (Larkin) of Waukon; and his brothers, Patrick Whalen (Karen) of Lansing, Thomas Whalen (Laurie) of Dawsonville, GA, Joseph Whalen (Tina) of Crawfordsville, IA and Jerry Whalen (Kris) of Eugene, OR. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
