With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ila E. Thorn (Vinton, Iowa), born in Center Point, Iowa, who passed away on September 20, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Phelps and Esta Phelps; and her siblings, Donald Phelps, Otis Phelps, Morris Phelps, Dorn Phelps, George Phelps, Mart Phelps and Vivian Phelps.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Klimes (Larry) of Nevada; her grandson Eddie Klimes; and her sister-in-law Pat Phelps of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
