Lionel Hermiston Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2020, at the age of 92, Lionel Hermiston of Walcott, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Hermiston and Vivian Hermiston (Ryan); his former life partners, Roma June Pagel and Sandra Flannery; his wife Sandy; his children, Julie Hinds of DeWitt, Ronald Hermiston (Jill) of Wheatland, Donald Hermiston (Joanne) of Donahue, Debra Hermiston of Spring Valley, James Hermiston (Lisa Ricker) of Eldridge, Kent Hermiston (Tracey Pike) of Mechanicsville, Michael Hermiston of Davenport and Neal Hermiston of Donahue; and his siblings, John Hermiston (Charlene) of Blue Grass, Ruth Drake of Davenport, LaDean Christiansen of Davenport, Doris Bennett (Ralph) of Davenport, Raymond, Paul Hermiston and Helen Edwards. He was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
