It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Rita Lamer (Walnut, Iowa), who passed away on March 13, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Proksel and Bertha Proksel (Haney); her siblings, John Proksel, Fred Proksel, Tom Proksel and Dolly Oldham; and her great grandchild Ethan Chipman.

She is survived by : her husband Everett Lamer of Walnut, IA; her friend Alice Rita Lamer; her daughters, Cheryl Chipman (Rick) of Harlan and Cathy Lamer of Shelby; her grandchildren, Adam Chipman (Anne) of Harlan, Jerad Chipman (Katrina) of Sugar Grove and Amanda Chipman of Ames; her great grandchildren, Isaac Chipman and Luke Chipman; her grandchildren, George Eyakoh (Rachael) of Addison, Murat Makeshev (Begimai) of Tokmok, Kyrgyzstan Makono and Mishi Makono of Tanga; her great grandchildren, Aden Eyakoh of Addison, Asema Makeshev and Ailin Makeshev; and also Papillion. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
