He was predeceased by: his wife Carla Rae Haines; his grandparents, Loren "Pete" and Katie Haines; his brother-in-law Phillip "Dude" Wilson Jr.; his aunt Laura Whiteside; and his uncle Clayton Whiteside.

He is survived by: his sisters, Sylvia Wilson, Danielle Everhart and Jason Meadows; his nieces and nephews, Casey Wilson (Maria), Kaytlyn Wilson, McKenzie Everhart, Jaxon Meadows, Andalyn Jack, Gabrielle Jack and Chevy Jack; and his stepchildren, Seth Stires, Brittany Stires and Janet Murphy.

Jeremy will always be remembered as a hero to his family for sharing The Gift of Life and Healing through organ and tissue donation.
