She is survived by: her grandmother Hee Robinson; her parents, Douglas Melcher and Charlene Melcher; her pet Bear; her husband Michael; her daughter River "Krystal" Grow (Brooks) of Oregon; and her siblings, Devin Melcher of Missouri, Adam Melcher of Des Moines, Dawn Clark (Kama Kauni) of Grundy Center, Sung Hee Grittmann of Des Moines and James Melcher (Liz) of Cedar Falls. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
