He was predeceased by: his daughter Anne Brooke; and his brother David Rickert. He is survived by: his parent William J. "Bill"; his spouses, Vicki Mears and Bonnie Rickert of Waterloo; his children, Stewart Rickert of Waterloo, Brian Pecka of Orlando, Florida, Courtney Rickert-McCaffrey (Tom) of Washington and Christina Pecka of Orlando, Florida; his grandchildren, Jonathan Rodriguez of Summerville, Chase Fanchette of Gainesville, Ryan Rodriguez of Pebble Beach, Peyton Brooke of Altamonte Springs and Greta McCaffrey of Washington, D. C.; and his siblings, Bruce Rickert (Luann) of Naples and Sara Faust (Stan) of River Forest.
