It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lynn Cooper of Waukon, Iowa, born in Postville, Iowa, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Hubert W. Cooper and Ruth Cooper (Kugel); and his brother-in-law Garry Snyder. He is survived by : his former life partner Erlyss Burroughs; his sisters, Anaruth Snyder of Waterloo, IA and LaVerna Benzkofer of Houston, TX; and his girlfriend Marcia Solem of Decorah. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews; 11 great-nieces and nephews.
