He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Snitker and Marie Snitker (Hangartner); his wife Sharon Snitker (Wickham); his parents-in-law, Rodney and Lucille Anderson; his siblings, Gale, Gorman Snitker, Katheryn Vaupel and Janet Larson; and his siblings-in-law, Janie Snitker, Frank Wickham, Fred Barnhouse and Clark Larson.
He is survived by: his sons, Grant Jr. and Brian (Karen) of Oskaloosa, IA.; his friend Gator; his pet Penny; his brother Gordy; his grandchildren, Trevor, Samuel, Colin, Sarah, Mya and Griffin; his close friend Kara Schulte; and his parents-in-law, Gary Snitker (Nancy), Judy Barnhouse, Karen Ashbacher (Sonnie), Sandy Bender (Pam), Karla Fisher (Terry), Greg Snitker (Mary), Patti Hughes (Rick) and Gordy Snitker (Mary Moen).
