She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Farr and Lois Farr (Rigsbee); her parents-in-law, Carl and Bernice Johansen; and her brother-in-law Lyle Johansen.

She is survived by : her husband Richard Johansen; her children, Bradley (Trisha Johansen), Eric (Kassandra Johansen) and Pamela (Travis Seehase); and her great grandchildren, Tory, Cassie Johansen, Madi, Sam, Imogene Johansen-Wettach, Hunter, Madison, Veronica Johansen, Holt, Molly, Kinley Johansen, Elizabeth, DeVante, Tatum Allen-Krueger, Dillon, Rosie, Sofia Johansen, Elias, Hannah Seehase, Clay Johansen and Laura Seehase. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

David Beery wrote a sympathy message

“Betty will be greatly missed. I first met her in 1979. She was smart ad hard-working. She was experienced and reliable. She was spirited-filled and a major volunteer in her church and her community. She was married to Richard for over 50 years and was SO proud of her 3 children and their spouses. She talked often of her extended family too. Betty and I spoke by phone just a few days ago. I am sad it will be our final earthly conversation. Rest in peace Betty. David E. "Dave" Beery”
