He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Bertha (Wedemeier) and Robert Paul Brandt; his wife Constance Rae Smith; and his sister-in-law Sherry Smith. He is survived by: his daughter Shanna Snitker (Andy) of Cedar Falls, IA; his grandsons, Arthur and Jack Snitker; his brothers, Dennis Brandt (Carla) of Denver, IA, David Brandt (Barbara) of Urbandale, IA and Donald Brandt (Claudette) of Cedar Falls, IA; his father-in-law Richard Smith of Manchester, IA; and his siblings-in-law, David Smith (Jodie) of Hiawatha, IA, Darren Smith (Sabrina) of Overland Park, KS and Stephanie Reineck (Mike) of Hudson, WI. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
