He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Hochstetler and Joretta Hochstetler. He is survived by: his wife Alice Schrock of Kalona; his children, J. B. (Carla) of Goshen, Timothy (Kimberly) of Goshen, Ilona Roberts (Matthew) of Milford and Lara of Kalona; his grandchildren, Noah (Alaina), Mussie, Greta, Alena, Bennett, Corina and Grady; and his brothers, Ledru (Sheri) and Lamonte (Val). He is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or plants, donations can be made to various organizations that Joey supported throughout his life, such as The Gideons International and United Youth Group.
