With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kevin Claeys of Welton, Iowa, born in Dewitt, Iowa, who passed away on February 18, 2021 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parent Francis Claeys. He is survived by : his mother Shirley Claeys (Cleveland); his wife Jo Ellen Wirth; his daughter Malinda Claeys (Lion) of Pueblo West, Colorado; and his siblings, Curtis Claeys (Diane), Denise Feldpausch (Pat), Todd Claeys, Marlaina Recknagel (Jim), Colette Christensen (Chad), Corrin Blandin (Geoff) and John "Jay" Claeys (Leora). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and his fur baby.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Welton Fire Department or the DeWitt Referral Center.
